1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Mindomax platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the Mindomax services.

2. User Conduct

Users are expected to use Mindomax for lawful, educational purposes only. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. Any use of the platform for illegal activities, harassment, or any form of abuse is strictly prohibited.

3. Intellectual Property

All content provided on Mindomax, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of LumixisCoreStudio or its content suppliers and protected by intellectual property laws.

4. User-Generated Content

Users retain ownership of the content they create but grant LumixisCoreStudio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display the content as part of the service. This includes flashcards, notes, and other educational materials. Users are responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe third-party rights.

5. Privacy and Data Use

LumixisCoreStudio is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and safeguard your data in compliance with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA) and GDPR.

6. Free Access Period

Mindomax is currently free for all users, with all premium features unlocked at no cost until 2028. No payment or subscription is required during this period. When paid subscriptions are reintroduced, users will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Payments will be processed through our payment processor, Paddle.

7. Future Subscription Terms

When paid subscriptions resume in the future, they will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Users will be notified before renewal and can cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings.

8. Refund Policy

As Mindomax is currently free, no refunds are applicable. When paid subscriptions are reintroduced, a detailed refund policy will be provided. See our separate Refund Policy page for more information.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend service for maintenance or updates with reasonable notice.

10. Account Termination

We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time, subject to our Data Retention Policy.

11. Modifications to Terms

LumixisCoreStudio reserves the right to modify these terms with notice to users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LumixisCoreStudio's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in Canadian courts.
