Time your study, subject by subject
Run a pomodoro, count down to a deadline, or just let the stopwatch run. An alert tells you when a round is over, the screen can stay awake while you work, and every session is filed under a label — so you can see how much time went into each subject.
Pick the one that fits the session
All three sit in the same place, and all three count towards your labels.
Pomodoro
Work rounds and breaks in turn. You set the length of each and how many rounds you want.
Countdown
One block of time, counting down. Good for a set number of cards or a practice exam.
Stopwatch
Counts up with no end. Use it when you don't know how long the work will take.
Time adds up per subject
Give a session a label with a name and a colour. The minutes are then counted under that label, so at the end of the week you can see where the time actually went.
The small things that matter
An alert at the end of a round
A sound and a notification when the round is over, so you can look away from the screen while it runs.
The screen can stay awake
Turn it on and the display stays on for the whole session — useful when the timer sits next to your books.
Sessions sync across devices
Start on your phone, keep going on your Mac or in the browser. The record of the session follows you.
Counted per label
Each label keeps its own total, so you can compare subjects instead of guessing.
Questions about the timer
Short answers.
What lengths can I set?
You choose the work and break lengths and the number of rounds. The classic 25 and 5 minutes is only the starting point.
Can I have more than one label?
Yes. Make a label for each subject, give it a colour, and pick it when you start a session.
Does it cost anything?
No. Mindomax is free: no subscription and no in-app purchases.
Where do I find it?
In the Mindomax app on iOS, Android, macOS and the web, next to your decks.
